Dr. Chi-Yun Liu is an assistant professor at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), where he focuses on applying data science and artificial intelligence (AI) to real-world challenges in civil and engineering management. In addition to his academic role, he also serves as the general secretary of the Taiwan Construction Management Association (TCMA).
Dr. Liu focuses his research on applying large multimodal models (LMMs) and optimization techniques to high-tech facility management, legal consulting, and smart infrastructure management. He develops and implements advanced computational tools to enhance decision-making, boost operational efficiency, and create innovative solutions for complex challenges in these fields.
