Dr. Chi-Yun Liu is an assistant professor at National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech) and general secretary of the Taiwan Construction Management Association (TCMA). His work applies data science and generative AI to civil and engineering management, with a focus on high-tech facility management and construction robotics automation.

His research integrates vision-language-action models (VLAs), robotic perception and control, and optimization techniques to develop intelligent physical systems — advancing automation, embodied decision-making, and real-world task execution across smart infrastructure and next-generation construction sites.
